Stopped by a few spots Sunday evenin'.
Wind was HONKIN'.
There was one other guy at the run with me. Was more or less a cast testing trip to see how the shoulder would feel and if I could actually cast a conventional.
I actaully had one hit that I missed because A) I was asleep at the trigger B) Didn't really know what I was doin as I'm a back beach beatch.
There were some herrin' in the run. And a Big FAt seal out front mowin.
Water was gettin pretty dirty and there were 3 foot waves int he canal.
Have heard of some good catches along its long winding shore.

Went down again last night and fished the eastern half for a change. Nothing for me but I did see a couple guys hooking up both from the jetty and from a boat that was hovering at the east end. Nothing of size though from what I could see.

Plus, the wind really picked up and my son was having more fun playing on Scusset beach looking for crabs.

Chummed a couple holes with herring chunks for a couple hours..that was fun but no fishies today

Met some big guy throwing home made lures at the run, said he was having a "paint problem".

Try applying the spray to a tacky base coat, nice looking lure.

Hit the canal on the way home yesterday it was slow. I fished Harwich/Denisport area yesterday morning. Lot's of schoolies, but the bigger fish were just out of reach from the beach. I know the beach guys did well with fish over 30" on cut herring durring the south west wind on Wed night. I did see my first blue fish. Sorry yes I said Blue fish.

Ya, that north wind blew. Looks like no one is really doing that good in the canal.. a few fish here and there. I'm going to give it another shot maybe Wednesday or Thursday.

Mid Cape is loaded with schoolies and the occasional good fish. We need some hard sw wind like we had Wednesday. Fishing was real good Wednesday. Lotsa schoolies last night.
