squid.... are they still around

did pretty well at goat island in newport last week.. thinking of headed up tomorrow after work... anyone have any reports for this week? just wondering if it's worth the trip.

I have it from a reliable source that the squid are still here in good numbers. A couple of hardy locals with "special access" got several buckets of them in the last couple of nights. However with the north wind it is coming right at you on the causeway. They are still around though.

Me too. This weather had me pinned down. I gotta go fish tonight...its gonna be a late one Lets hope the weed ain't kicked up.

Re: squid: They are still around but not quite as thick...You can still hammer them but it is a right time right place thing.
