Couple of sweet days on the ocean

On vacation so I fished yesterday and today, loaded up with macks yesterday but only managed a couple of smaller fish, took one home for the grill and fed a few friends from MSBA. The weather and seas have been perfect..

Today the macks were finicky, and it took me a while to get enough in the well. I did better on bass though, couple more smaller keepers and one FATTY weighed in at 24 pounds. Someone I know weighed in a 40+ pounder today also. I like talking about fish in pounds rather than inches !!!!!!

Maybe tomorrow will be better, taking the boy out so hes sure to out-fish me (AGAIN)...On vacation all next week and i'm gonna fish my arse off.

The smaller fish I mentioned were bass. Almost all the macks I got were HUGE. I caught that fatty on a 14" macky.

Christian I have been out 3 days in a row now and have not seen any blitzes. Maybe I'm looking in the wrong spot, but i shoulda seen something.

And OH YEA, me and my son went fishless today, just a couple of hits, and one bass chasing my macks on the sabiki rig.

That was pretty much the word out there today, not much fish.

But still the third awesome day to be out in a boat, flat calm.
But the harbor was like the freakin expressway coming in.

I feel your pain.....and that Weymouth ramp is really theonly one around thats decent...I did the ramp thing for years, till i couldnt take it anymore. I had to wait 2 hours one day,,, that was the last straw. A slip is the way to go. :
