Any idea what they use to make pallets out of? I'm no wood expert but it almost looks like white pine they're cutting up to throw out. Looks like yellow pine but is very very light in color....any idea how to tell what it is for sure.

These definitely aren't oak. They are much lighter in weight and they look like pine but are almost white in color. I already scoffed'em up and put them in the car.
If they make crappy plugs they'll make a good campfire.

I got some 2x2 dunnage from work,,light,,white,, somebody said it was swamp pine,,They said it was crap wood grain goes everywich way ,, turns nice and makes a pretty mean cowboy though .. maybe u got swamp pine
