Question spook roll

OK... last night I tie on a spook, one that was given to me ( I ain't gonna say who's).. I reel it in, it walks the dog nice, but... I have enuf light left, to see it's also rolling as it comes in, full 360's, as it's walking the dog!... OK, try it again, same thing, chek my leader, line, etc. change to another spook, normal, then I try one of my own, normal, well that eliminates gear trouble, I guess.. so.. put the first one on,, a rolling V-wake, as I don't twitch it to get it walking, just want to see it come in straight.. rolling....
any thoughts as to why , must be something with the weighting ..
I dunno, but it's spooky fer sure..
Like I said, I ain't saying who, not slamming anybody, I've made my share of goofs, but always seeking the "whyitdodat" info, to learn, or try to anyway.

Sounds like a weight problem to me. Don't think I've ever had a spook roll like that before. All of mine are tail weighted so that the spook sits about 10 degrees off horizontal.

weighting most likely, or the thru hole drilled crooked. I have had plugs where the thru hole if off, and it effects a swimmer. If the tail weight is off center and up high instead of in the middle, it can do that on you. Take it apart and try to salvage it, I have done that alot.

I added a shot up by the belly hook hole in some howdys I made and they do great.
