Family Week at the Block

Spent the last week on Block Island. What a great place for a family vacation and the fishing is prettyh good to. Brought the boat over and rented a house for the week. Got in lots of fishing. The best family vacation in years. I would highly recommend it.

Now on to better stuff. Fished eels over boulders, ridges and fingers to catch all the 20-25 pounders you can handle. Released all fish except one small one we had for a barbacue. Todays hint..set your drift a a few different spots over the same cover. A lot of times at the Block the wind pushed you a different way than the current. Eels need to be presented as comming from up stream.
