Best pizza and grinders in South County
In a few weeks I'll be headed back to RI for my annual fishing trip. My fishing buddies and I like to pick up 4-5 large pizza's the first day for dinner and have leftovers for breakfast and lunch etc.
We wouldn't mind driving a bit for an outstanding pie.
Thin crust NYC style is what we prefer.
BTW, there is no good pizza in Indiana.
Thanks,
Bernzy

There are some good pizza places in South County - but they are mostly Greek style.
I Frank & Johns in East Greenwich - they are from Naples, if you go on off hours like a Sunday afternoon when they are not jammed busy, you get really great pie. If you go when they are busy, its still very good. They won RI Monthly's "Best Of Rhode Island" award for their pizza about 5 years ago. I've been going there since the late 60's when I was little.
As an SRI vendor, I'll treat ya and any of your crew that would like to come along.

I worked at the shop in portsmouth when it first opened basswipe, the owner kenny is a great guy, hell of a character too. He been head chef at many good restauants and use to be an instructor at johnson and whales.West main pizza is the best spot to go for specialty pizzas, some of there pizzas have so many toppings they must weigh 15lbs.

Theres is no good pizza north of Greenwich CT!!!!
Having been born and raised in the heart of the Pizza Belt, NY, I can say that
Maybe Sicilia's on the Hill, for some Italian thick crust.
PS. Cheferson, thats not pizza
