Bait Everywhere
Sweat morning, fished my usual ledges without much luck, but picked up 4 big bass on a friends offshore hump on plastic. Biggest was 27 lbs and dropped one a bit larger I think, the only drawback was the blues mixed in, so I went through some plastic and lead.
On the way back into the harbor I couldn't believe the bait, acres and acres of small bait without so much as a fish on it. Plenty of terns working the bait, but it didn't appear anything was under it or pushing it. Probably a good thing, as I have a busy balance of the day, hope some albies come in on all that bait next time I'm out.
