5" Mambo Minnows

Curious, have any of you guys tried throwing bigger hooks on these. Lost a decent fish this morning and was thinking that maybe a bigger hook may have helped. Anybody ever try it??

You can go one size up on the back but not on the front. If you increase the hook size on the front you will catch you line alot when casting. Also replace the split rings and hooks with stronger ones. I use VMC 4X

I've found thru some heartbreaking experience that the factory hooks just aren't sharp enough.Change'em over to appropriate sized VMCs and you'll start catching.
