Here are some close ups but these aren't my creations , these are vintage Creek Chub lures from my collection . I WISH I created these lures and someday I hope to duplicate them , but an original Creek Chub lure had up to 14 coats of finish on them and thats why they still look great to this day .
Creek Chub was also the company that invented the metal lip and the technique of painting over mesh to create a scale pattern.
Creek Chub invented the Pikie, Surfster, Darter ..............

For the record ,
The first pic is a Jointed Husky Pikie painted Silver Flash
The second is a Husky Pikie painted in pikie scale
The third is a 700 series Pikie Minnow (with box) painted pikie scale
Last is a Baby Jointed Pikie painted in pikie scale

yep! kilt many a corn broom in my day,,saved all the handles too, free plug wood don't ya know....them spokes from them baby buggy's wheels,,those were great..can't findum no more
