That time of year again.
While everyone has been stuck in their caves I have been enjoying everybit of this wintery weather. Still have about 8 inches of solid snow.
Couple of pics from this weekend.

Where can you rent snowmobiles and drive them at the same place?

I have been trying to find places in mass but can't seem to come up with anywhere. If you are willing to make a weekend out of it and don't mind the drive there are numerous places in New Hampshire that you could rent and ride. Some are just up 93 N. about 1 1/2 hrs. from Boston in the White Mts.

NH is OK. Any names you would recommend. If I do it I'd want one well maintained that didn't strand me somewhere in the woods and a safe place to ride. .

There's a place in Bethel ME near Sunday River that rents sleds and is on the trails, not really enough snow to ride up there yet though. Its called Sun Valley sports. Check the Bethel ME home page. Nice area.

Maine also has many areas in which to rent and ride. It is a great way to enjoy the outdoors in winter. My family takes weekend trips up to the mountains to snowmobile. We also ski, snowshoe or just relax.
