Seriously, August 05 weight = 220, November 2005 = 175
No kidding, followed the diet religoulsy. Ran 3- 4 times a week, less than 3 miles.
Its a major adjustment, and gets boring. But if you love meat, cheese, vegatables and some more meat and cheese, its easy

I've kept the weight off so far.

I cant say, but for me with no high blood pressure.
After eating 3 months of eating solid fats and veggies, my cholesterol went from 207 to 170. Everyting else checked out fine, blood pressure perfect.
There is such a focus on meat and eggs being bad for you, the problem is that if you eat a lot of bread, pasta etc which all turn to sugar in your body, and dont use the sugar, it turns to fat.
The diet worked for me and made me realize that carbs are high energy food. The American lifestyle is full of carbs and little exercise, Its a bad combo.
Once you lose the weight, its all about moderation. i eat carbs now, I just try to not eat a whole bag of Doritos, Cheese-its or french fries, which sometimes is hard

If you buy a bigger bag of doritos , you can be satisfied with only eating half the bag.

Zac,

You need to switch to the Hooters diet. Taste great AND less filling.
