Question Another F'n Sluggo Question

This is easy. What size hooks on the 7.5" to rig with 2 hooks? I'm placing an order with M&D's and can't remember. I'm thinking 5/o but don't want to order the wrong size.

Thanks!

5/0

My note from Steve's presentation at MSBA show 5/0 for the 7.5" and 7/0 for the 9".

Steve addressed that exact question at the MSBA meeting. He said that he started by using a smaller hook in the tail but found that it made no difference and has switched to using the same size hook on the front and back.

Another question? Would offset hooks work? or should they be straight since it acts kinda like a keel?

sluggo's

off set hooks might alter the action too much. i'm going to try sluggos seriously this year for the first time. i'll try my luck with just one hook.
