Wireless Kill Switch

Don't know if any of you have seen this yet http://www.wirelesslanyard.com/cast/default.asp- this is the first time I've heard of it but it looks very cool. I fish alone 90% of time and I must admit I rarely clip into the kill switch.

469? I fish alone too but I'll hook up for that price. I made a 6' hookup extension for my switch for trolling that gets me around the back pretty well. Upfront I have the motor off drifting.

Yeah - I know it's pretty expensive.

Any amateur electrical engineers out there?? Seems like a pretty simple circuit breaking issue. The unit on the boat is like a solenoid. It keeps the circuit closed as long as the transmitter is talking to the remote. You fall in - the remote turns off the signal and the circuit opens - killing the motor. Seems like McGuiver could build something like that for $10 in parts from radio shack....
