So....who went today?

Talked to Specialist, and we blew it off.....wind just didn't switch around early enough for my liking.....at 11 am it was still North 10-15 knots.....Switching to SW later today.

Wish we had today's weather yesterday and tomorrow's weather today.....looks like SW to SSW winds thru Tuesday.....

So, I guess unless I decide to be a really BAD boy on Tuesday......I gotta wait until I come back from Jersey.....though I'll have 4-5 solid days of fishing for their (hopefully not twinkie) fish.....

If anybody went, let us know!

Specialist, I was there from about 5:30 to 7:30. Strong wing from SW, nice waves and wash, but bone chilling cold. Slow pick of micros, picked up at sunset. Logged maybe a dozen. Couple of fish seen/caught on the larger side of twinkie.

Note to self: Dig in trunk for neoprene gloves last spotted 12/15/01!

I went deap sea fishing Sunday (4/7) with Walsh's Deap Sea Charters out of Lynn. I caught 2 cod and 2 haddock. I also threw back 4 short cod. The circle hooks did their job and none were gut hooked.

I was just using clams (2 hook rig) on the bottom in about 250 feet of water.

Those who were jigging did well too.

The pool winner was 29 lbs.

It wasn't that cold and the seas were tolerable.

I haven't been out in weeks, but then again I have felt like S*** for weeks too. I'm hoping to get out some day this week, although I don't want to have a relapse. Five days of meds and I only feel marginally better . Good thing it's still early spring.
