Striper Poaching!! - Striper Talk Striped Bass Fishing, Surfcasting, Boating

...I got a tip that a couple of anglers were Striper Poaching in Ma...
I followed up on my leads, (at this time, I cannot disclose the location)...but luckily I had my camera...and caught them in the act!!!...these guys were literally bragging left and right!!...THEY WERE HAMMERING THEM!!!....this first dude got like 4 in a row!!!...I couldn't get too close because they threatened to throw rubber at me!!

...but I managed a couple of quick shots before I ran for the hills!!!....

...they had double headers and all!!....I hid around the bushes, and got a shot of the other "hot dog"...saying how he's so good, he can catch em' standing on one leg!!...

...They were even asked to leave the premises by some land owners....but WOULDN'T BUDGE!!...these guys were persistent..and consistent!!.....come to find out though....they weren't really poaching at all....they were releasing them after showing off to each other....

.....I started wishing I had a rod, so I could catch some too....

I don't know about the guy taking the pictures he had a rod but the only fish he could catch where the other two guys on film

Had a great time last night with BLOO and GOOSE also saw some fish caught at sun down on top water out on the neck. Next trip is for tog.

Hey can I entry that baby in the biggest fish of the year???

)..save that stuff for your BACK!!...

...and as far as having a rod myself...that didn't matter, you guys had me in stitches too long....

...I couldn't concentrate!!!....(thats my excuse )...hee hee hee

after all, I could have stayed home and done this......
