Thumbs up you guys are fortunate

Youse guys down in southern new england are indeed a fortunate bunch. I went out yesterday to check and see if the alewives have appeared yet. Checked streams and smallrivers from Kittery to Portland and saw nuthin'. Ocean temp. is 38, air temp. in the low 40's. Several of the streams did show temps. in the low 40's, but it,s gonna be close to a month before any decent numbers of stripers show up. I am envious of you people and your early run of bass. Oh well guess I'll have to settle for a feww landlock salmon and brook trout untill the real fish show up. Tight lines, Mal
