I had a Suzuki 225 that went under, just 6 months old. If the insurance won't total them, I'd look to sell them as salvage and take what the repair would've cost. I had nothing but problems after this engine was "fixed". Suzuki fixed all the problems under warranty but the time lost and uncertainty every time I went out isn't worth it. Too many little electronic parts to go wrong with these newer engines.

Things done at the last possible minute are done with the greatest possible information. Procrastination is, therefore, the most efficient means of doing things.

Thanks for the well wishes. I just got back from my Zuke dealer we found a broken fitting coming off one of my deck drains, looks like it broke and dropped inside the starboard sponson. Must have started a siphon as the through hull is below the water line. Bilge pump must not have been able to keep up or maybe clogged or something, hard to tell. I am still in shock I think and don't know what my insurance company is going to do.
I only have 10 hrs on the engines, she was running sweet with the new power. Hope to be back in soon but who knows!
