cell phone reception in Southern RI.
Anyone know what cell phone reception is like down in Southern RI? Particularly in the Pt. Judith Area?
I am on call this weekend and forget if I get reception in the area as I was only down there a handful of times last year and never when I was on call.
I am particularly interested in verizon and nextel reception
It would make me sad to go for the ride and then have to turn around and head back to newport or something so I can keep connected... Just trying to save myself an hour and 5 gallons of gas.

pretty solid both nextel and verizon all over southern RI. A few little holes here and there, but nothing different than anywhere else.

Nextel has a FEW dead spots in SoCO, when you switch from RI to Long Island towers...
