Fishing in the Storm, Pics.
I got out of work around 3:00pm and decided to head down the cape. It was pouring in Worcester when I left but I wanted to fish. I was a little nervous of the Hail warnings but decided to take the chance. After I crossed the bridge it stopped raining and the sun came out. It was blowing 20 SW at the water but casting was not a problem. After 2 hrs of great weather the fronts started moving in around 6:45 or so. Most of them were off to the South but then one headed right for us. I got some good pics of it sneaking in on us.
Oh yeah lots of fish especially .
If you think you know the area keep it to yourself.

Best thing I saw today at the water was a mother who drove her young son aroung 13-14 years old to the water to fish. She just sat in the car and watched with enthusiasm. When it started looking bad out she said they needed to go. He turns and asks her if they could pleeeeaaase come back after the storm. I just started laughing out loud and the mother got a kick out of it.

Me and the family watched the storm approach from the jetties at Sesuit. The kids were having trouble standing even. That was quite the front.

I was out at Q when right as that storm rolled in...that 'ROLL' of clouds coming in like the Perfect Storm was pretty cool to watch. I stayed out on the B/Way until it got as dark as night in about 3 minutes and the wind picked up even worse than it was. Decided to call it...schoolies aren't worth getting struck by lightning for.

Back in Iowa you'd watch these clouds pretty close.
Often after they would pass everything would turn bright green. If it started to hail you'd run and hide as a tornado would be soon to follow.

Fishing was non stop for hours and they countiued through the front. I had to leave them biting to get home. There was a great shot of a double rainbow out in the ocean but I was too busy to go get the camera.
Nice shots guys. Those pics don't come around often.

never saw a storm roll in like that before... the waters were dead calm and all of a sudden the wind picked up a little and whamo! I'd hate to be in a boat watching that come it... It moved so fast, no way you could out run it.
