Broken rods

I went tonight, I had a fish on that made 4 or 5 good runs. I could feel him scraping the bottom. Well he got into a kelp bed and I lost him. My sisters boyfriend scored a 29" on clams. As soon as it hit the water the bass hit. He must of hit him on the head with the bait. Well any way I got hung up a couple of times in the stupid kelp bed. The last time I snapped my 9" Sealine X. That is the rod I bought last year. It broke int 2 or 3 pieces on the top section but the bottom is ok. I am bummed.

Dude, that sucks!
Same thing happened to me last summer; luckily the rod was a fenwick and they replaced it for free (as I told you @ Mike's).
It might be worth contacting the company to see what they can do.
Alright man, talk to you later.
