TOW RATES in Massachusetts

Due to the number of people posting problems with getting towed or the threat of getting towed by a municipality the attached document with the exception of the town of Whitmans name appearing in it is the rate that everyone is suppose to charge for towing in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. These rates are negotiated by the State Wide Towing Associationstatewidetowing.org with the commissioners of the Divison of Telecommunication and Energy mass.gov/dte. Thier are a couple of things that are not on the attachment, such as storage rates. Fenced in, lighted outside storage is $20.00 a day and all other outside storage is $10.00 a day. Chiefs of police or thier designees in the various municipalities are in charge of towing. The tow truck owners/operators are not. Any questions feel free to PM or email me. The attachment didn't beam up if anyone is interested PM me.

Not all tow companies are bad!!!
And new trucks ( $50 - $80k ) are not cheap !!!
Not too mention liability ins, diesel fuel, prop tax on land storage yards, ect.................
