fresh bait

Anyone here know where i can get some fresh pogies? I just tore my ACL and was hoping to do the beach chair, beer drinking, bait soaking thing tonight with my father since rock hopping is outta the question for the rest of the season. I will be heading down to jamestown for the incoming tonight so if anyone would like to PM me where i might find them I would be greatly appreciative. thanks in advance...

Bart,

Sorry about your leg man. Its too late now but MikeCC in Wareham has fresh local caught pogies at times....probably now to as they are still in Buzzards.

Get well soon,
Mike

Sorry to hear that, I can speak from experience that your going through some pain and discomfort. I tore mine 5 years ago skiing. I got surgery in May and tried to walk the beach in June to little successs. I would get some chunks and beer and try your luck at an accesible spot. You will be walking fine by the fall run.

thanks for the words of encouragement. that's what i'm hoping for, even if i can't hop rocks I can still ride the beaches and chase birds.

chef- last night was a disaster. i haven't chunked in years so i had to go out and buy hooks but i lost them on the ride over to the beach. so chunking was outta the question. I resorted to some all terrain crutching out to a big flat rock and planted my arse there for a while, ch#^&#^&#^&#^&#^&g pencils and poppers. actually had one raise which i thought was funny. my dad didn't get any hits, it was too weeded up. we just ended up calling it a night after a few beers. it was nice just to get out there though....

I have NO ACL in my right knee. You get use to being a little tippy. Get yourself one of the neoprene braces with the hole in the kneee. You will feel bionic.

No boat, back in the suds.

i had heard the area was slow, was really just a chance to get out and relax a little with my dad...wasn't really expecting to catch.

yeah wildwood is the sh*t, i was referred to as the "eel guy"(not to be confused with "#^&#^&#^&#^&#^&#^&") there because it seemed i was the only one using those lockers last year.

about the knee, i came down horribly wrong on it after grabbing a rebound with only one minute left in my bball game...f'n figures

P- thanks for the advice, i'll look into it
