I will now talk about my 3 trips to the canal this week.

So, I went Wednesday afternoon and caught a 38 " bass and lost a big one (pulled 80 feet of drag before the hook pulled), also had 1 other bite on bait. Also threw a white bucktail and a 3 ounce blue and white polaris type popper, nothing.

Went friday morning, hooked a schoolie that brought the 2 ounce blue and white atoms striper swiper into the weeds on the ledge (I was fishing with an 8' rod with 15 pound test, (not the big guns). and also had another tremendous run off, dumped half the reel before the hook pulled . Oh well another fish story to tell.
I went again Friday night and caught 2 on that 2 ounce poper, one was 26" and the other was about 22" and I got a 24" on bait. My friend caught a 24" on bait, no biggies last night. Lots of schools of fish on the bottom of the west and start of the east, and large schools of schoolie bass hearding the tiny bait at dusk.
I'm going again tonight. and maybe tomorrow morning. I overslept this morning, I'm not in shape oke:

OK thats my fishing report
