Lobster Question???

My very generous neighbor is a scuba diver......he often brings me some free lobster! Well he just brought over 11 lobsters and we already have dinner cooking! Question is what is the best way to keep them over night to have them tomorrow???? What is the best thing to do???

Almost time to get our fish on!!!

Refrigerator with moist paper towels or seaweed. Test in the morning by placing your finger in the claw.

yep toss them in the veggie drawer.. or if 11 won't fit put them in a cooler with ice. don't let them sit in the melted ice water keep the drain plug open. they'll keep for days.

thats alot of lobster..

The best thing to do, is to invite someone like me over. We'll polish them all off, then you won't have to worry about them.
Just leave them in the crisper drawer in the fridge overnight with moist newspaper or paper towels. They'll be fine.

Good advice above, they should be able to keep for several days if kept cool...

Although given the amount, I'd consider giving some away. Might come in handy if the neighbors owe you

My father was a scuba diver, and soon I will to. We always just keep them in the frigerator, make sure they have the rubber bands on so they can't get your hands, but fridge will be fine as long as your not going to save them for long periods of time. He would bring home maybe 7 lobsters each dive, and we ate maybe 1-2 per-night.

If you know, where do he go out of for the dive boat?

Lobster is too good to be used as bait, maybe two small pieces from the lobster, that's it.
