Plug Night IV, a success
On behalf of the MSBA membership I wanted to thank all the people that took the time to come by as well as all the vendors that traveled up and made Plug Night a great success. Thanks to all the donations from very generous people, together we raised over $1000 for the Dana Farber Cancer Institute for Children.
A special thanks to Scott, aka Salty Bugger for providing the nights entertainment, he put on a very interesting presentation holding the rooms attention. "He isnt the king, nor the god father, he is, Salty Bugger... " -I liked that part
Next year will only get better
Again, thank you all for coming out to Plug Night IV
~Chris

Hope you guys liked that last nite, I tried to show you/talk about some stuff that people don't see every day and figured guys would enjoy seeing that. I stink at public speaking tho.
Thanks to JohnR and lidwik for helping out on the video, sorry bout the quality it was done with my digital camera.
Maybe this winter we'll do a professional movie and show some more stuff that I didn't last nite and we can play it next year.
Good to see everyone too!

Good time. I had to leave and hit the ATM. Got some plugs! Then I had to leave so I didn't buy any more. Nice to see a lot of people I knew and met a few new people.

Damn. I would have love to have the chance to ho one of your plugs. Love your wonderbread. The little lady put alot of pressure on me last night. I had fished the last 4 nights and heading out to plug night didn't go over well so I had to make a limited appearance. Saw you w/ plug bag in hand but just didn't get a chance to catch up with you. I'm shore we'll see each other on the beach.

Great night as usual and Mass Striped Bass is a first class organaization. Lot's of great plug builders there, all top rate.
Bigfish Larry, that was a smokin' display and man you have come a long way in short order, your pencil poppers are awesome!
Al Gag is a true gentleman, generous to a fault and on the cutting edge with that sun cure process.
Still trying to figure out Afterhours secret finish formula, tough but forgiving. Good stuff. and the needle that Numbskull got is really nice.
Hab's, well he is on a roll with new inovations and he gave me the word that needles will be coming.
Line Stretcher tackle has some great plastics and two nicer people you could not ask to meet.
Surf Asylum really put out some product and that Sniper in Sakonnet Sand eel is in my bag.
Point Jude Joe is really doing some great work with the metal and that gold finish really has potential on the outer beach. I only fish his metal now, man they work.
Bliz is experimenting and that jointed eel was the stones. Would love to see the bigger version, got some bass that would love it too.
Salty, well Scott is a great guy. Can't wait to do the tour of the factory. Can't believe the stuff he comes up with. That ground glass is wayyyyyy cooool! I know it works too!!!! Thanks Scott for the presentation. You can tell a guys work ethic and devotion to his craft when he invests in equipment like the C&C Machine.
Oh yeah Scott, does the tour come with libations?
And to all the usual plug bums it was nice to see you all, it happens all too infrequently. Tagger hope you let the water out of the mens room sink after you float tested my stubby. ( sounds wierd doesn't it)
VB, when ever your ready call me. Ice cold beer at Piccadily some evening after work?
 all!!! Flap

I have no self control at those affairs.... is why I was at home at 7PM...Luds, I know that ATM intimately, maxed out daily limit last year! Sounds like it was a great time for all. Now if I could just enjoy the swappage without opening the wallet..... Would have been looking for a fall Cutty killah plug...
So what did you get me Mike?

I had a great night after I got there it took me 2 hours because I followed the directions on the MSBA web site,
Take RT. 93 or 95 South. Take exit 17 (Hilltop Steak House) on rotary, take Union Street exit going east (3/4 around rotary). The Braintree Police station will be on your left as you start on Union Street to end. At lights, take a left onto Rt. 53 (Quincy Avenue), the Viking Club will be approximately one mile on your left across from Dunkin Donuts.
1st) exit 17 off 93 is in the center of Boston right out of the tunnel
2nd) it says no where to take exit 7 rt. 3 south.
It should say; Take Rt.93 South or 95 South to 93 north, take exit 7 to Rt.3 south then take exit 17
That 1st sentence screwed me up big time and in rush hour traffic it added an hour to my ride.

No Cutty plugs for you. Personal greed took over and I was only thinking me....me.....me. Did you get a Surf Asylum pencil last time we where on Cutty? That's all you'll need! That swimmer I got for you should do some damage too.
