i would appreciate it if someone would explain to me why one hearing aid cost as much as two computers. i realise that it's permitted to gouge the public, but $600. for one does seem a wee bit much. i cannot understand it and the salespeople cannot explain it either. thanks, ed

600, that is cheap. my grandfathers' (he is 87) cost 2300 ea. And worst part is that they wear out in 2 years. They (belltone, etc ) really tuck it to consumers.
