Where'd they go???

Albeit not much time on the water today, maybe 3.5 hrs....
One dink at dusk? Havent had a showing like that in a while..... at least 2 dinks usually

Is the current hurricane off of SC messing things up right now?

I know after florence there were many skunks around this area..bass were hard to find.

Still a night on the water on the new boat! so I aint complainin

I'll say that last weekend was slow for bass after trying myself and hearing from others that put in the time. Must have been all the east wind from last week. There were some monster fluke on the bottom though, along with some 2-3 lb scup and some black sea bass to make up for the lack of bass. As I still love bottom fishing, especially when the fish are at their biggest size of the season.

I'm hoping that the potential storm out to sea won't rile things up too much and chase the fish off again, although it may be very good for the shore guys. Like you said, at least you tried.

I went to a known spot to produce at this time of year. Same time and conditions last year we got doubles and triples on every drift. This year we got 3 keepers and one breakoff and we were out there for a while.

I've been wondering what is going on this year as well. Chatham is usually heating up good by now.
