Eben -
I'm totally assuming here, as I am not sure what they are going to be used for ... if they are going to be used for bonefish and on the flats in South Florida - anywhere from Miami down through the Keys ...
...look for ones with a weed guard, as turtle grass is on most of the flats, and those exposed hooks could easily get snagged and turn off an investigating bonefish.
Again, I am assuming that they are going to be used on the grass flats ... so just inserting my two cents ...

good point.
I'm heading down to Culebra, and I'm worried there won't be any tackle stores on the island.
Eben if you see one with a weed guard buy it. Also could you please buy 50 dozen shrimp. It's up to you how to keep them alive on the plane north, carry them on if you have to, just get me those shrimp. If you don't my girlfriend knows some guys in New Jersey who will take care of your knees. Sorry. But I need those shrimp.

Sounds good.
I'll pick you up, and we'll meet him at the airport.
MMM... Oysters and Shrimp.
I'll bring the cocktail sauce.

Don't forget conch or similar bivalves, they often use them for bait for bones in the bahamas ... or smuggle some frozen calamari or bunker oil in your suitcase ... it works wonders ...
