Best fake Herrin

on the mkt. now that we can't kill live one's anymore. what did you come up with that slayed the fish this year...either it be wood=plastic-rubba..thinking about this coming spring cause of all the no fishing I got to do this year.

BOAT fish do count.

Well I got this spot see, right under everyone nose that's maybe 3' deep at high,pure sand, that for every herrin you tossed out 10' in front of you, it grew to 40"s with stripe's in a matter of a minute...year after year their there.. now I have to find something good for them to eat while swimming with the reel one's lurking around.

Take a 9 inch rubber shad in pearl and have your way with it with a spray can, or an air brush

Storm.. or the big Fin-S-fish, in alewife color....
i kinda think you are up river a bit, almost in the woods, where they "pond up" , but if you go down to the mouth of that river take a yellow pikie, or danny, or spook.. spring loves yellow on that side, where the rivers/runs meet the sound.

U mean there's herrin in herrin river I thought there were only blue crabs an hair leggers or is that red leggers..any who, both spots require a dingie, unless u can swim with ya wadda's full of water.
