ZeeBaas Success!

We have exceeded our goal and have collected more than enough to pay for the reel. I am going to put the check in the mail today to pay for the reel. I am going to have it sent to him directly from the factory with the inscription "Thanks from the members of Striped-Bass.com" If anyone has a better idea feel free to throw it out there. I figure we have until about thursday to change it.

A member who wishes to remain annonomous has offered to build a custom surf rod for John so some of the overage will go towards the blank for that. The rest will just go to John.

We all did a good job and this reel should have some serious Mojo for john.

Great job guys!

that's great! good job everyone

I am a procrastinator and haven't sent a check in yet I am too stupid to be able to figure out the paypal thing. I guess I'll just send it in anyway, or to John directly.

He's gonna love it I think that inscription will be fine.

Guys & Glas - again, I am truly honored and flattered that you all have gone through and done this.

The only truly appropriate way I can possibly show my thanks is to grant you all one "Get Out of Jail Free" card for this winter's cabin fever

ZeeBaaS just updated their website if you all want to see some more info on the reel. Its www.ZeeBaas.com they have allot more about it. John is getting the ZX2.1 in Satin Black. He should have it by mid next week.

The President of ZeeBaas has been a really great guy in helping us out with this. The more I learn about this reel the more amazing it seems. I wish I could afford one. It is truly a work of art.

The check was sent on Tuesday from Boston to CT so ZeeBaaS should have the money today I would think. Depending on whether they wait for the check to clear or not it should arive at some point next week. It is being sent directly to John. I don't think I could have it in my place without taking it for a test run

I live in South Boston and spend weekends in Chatham.

If you guys want to organize something to dedicate it, that sounds great. I'd love to meet you all in person.
