october births..why so many-
have you ever noticed how many october babies there are...just look at the happy birthdays going on right now
why do you think
is it because of new years eve/holidays
or just getting into the winter "shack up" mode
love to hear your thoughts

I've noticed the same thing with April birthdays. October/April 6 months apart....hmmmmm. I always attributed the April birthdays to "Beach Blanket Bingo" and October birthdays to "Too Cold to Fish".

In most recent years, August and September are the top months for births in the United States, according to federal statistics.
August had the most total births every year from 1990 to 2002 except for four — 1992, 1993, 1997 and 1998 — when it was edged out by July.

Bob.. ya made me think of an old timer, years ago used to come in the store.. he's long gone now, rest his souls.. but I'll never forget..
someone asked him how come he had so many kids, (think he had 11 or 12 kids!).. and all had Sept or Oct b'days.. he'd chuckle and say.. "Friction, what done it... cold nights, and all..."

Daughter on 10/26, my wife swears it was as a result of switching over from briefs to boxers just after Xmas '89.

Don't forget that the justation period is 9 months not 6 so it's January just hibernation mode ... Which reminds me of a funny story... My boss's Daughetr and her husband have had 3 babies in July... 2 on the 4th (different years) and another on the 10th... so their baby making time is October... so after the 3rd July child... when Oct rolled around he bought an electric blanket and a box of condoms... he rgave them to them and said.. here, use one or the other!
