steelhead anyone?????
i dont know if this is the right board but o well... i,m going to salmon river ny area nov 11 to 18 .... is any one heading there before or during that time ....i would like to get some first hand info ... been going there 30+ yrs and can,t get enouph of it.. there nothing like catching and releasing 10 + lb rainbow trout in the rivers and creeks on a fly pole w/ 4lb test and your own flys... i,m into the 3wks and counting ... after the bass fishing , than steelies ,... into the deer hunting.... man i love this time of year..god bless america.... o- btw---- fished w/ flaptail last night on the beachs p-town south ...... blowing hard nnw@ 15 to 20 .... waves were 2to6 ft n water was dirty w/ mung... suked....moved into bay at spot ,,,still windy nw20 no fish or hits for me but cleaner,chity night in all too windy, braid line and mung ....blow.... left @ 2am
