Slurp Spiders

Don't feel very good about how many of these 'bots are cruising through the site.... Just saw eight of them viewing user profiles.... may cause me to delete all my info. Any thoughts on this, moderators?

Question

How can they view your profile without being a member, or is that just an easy thing to circumvent.

they? it is an "it" searching the whole site and every post for
somebody@somewhere.com or .net ...... it never stops.

a much better idea : is to only send e-mail addy's or phone numbers via a PM or PM request.

Question

Soooooo, how do you use what they do against them? Or do they have some value, somehow? Seems like a hell of a lot of bandwidth and computing power is going into snooping.

It's more for the sponsors and admin. if you do a search and type in striped bass or striper fishing it brings you to similar site haveing to do with the subject. them searching you profile is just them (the search bots/spiders) not knowing what to really look for, which is content
