Wiring Cable TV

I want to connect cable to each of my kids rooms. Does anyone know if I will lose signal strength if I split the cable from one to three lines? If it helps: Cable line comes into the house to a 4-way splitter with amplifiers(I think) installed by cable company. One of the lines from this splitter goes to the attic over the bedrooms. Can I further split this attic line into 3 feeds to each bedroom? Thanks

Yes it will loose some strength everytime you split it. I had a booster put in-line to help. I got it installed by cox, but you my want to try Raido Shack.

Give it a try, your signal might be strong enough for the split. I've got 9 in my house and didn't need an amplifier until the last split.

Use the gold connectors..They seem to be better than regular ones..
