warm water coming! Anyone still have a boat in?

Take a look at the temperature charts, there is 75.5 degree water out at Veatch's! Should be whilin range in a week or so, who's going?

KR.... kid you have bigtime issues.

I was laughing today thinking about the "swimming incident" bayside Nauset this past September. You just kind of ....disappeared.

Not yet, but its still pretty far away, I might get some reports when it gets closer in a week or so. I'll keep everyone posted.

Mike,
Marina wanted it out before then end of Nov.

Keeper,
No NJ boats are going to make that run to the east, they are fishing down off Delaware and Maryland.

By the time that water gets close I'll be on the hard. Boat is in Niantic presently. You never know, but a run from me is not likely, fun to think about it this time of year.

Mako Mike keep us informed if you here anything there is still a slight chance it could happen?

Will do, I'd love to make one more run this year, even if its not on my own boat!

I haven't seen any 75-degree water anywhere close, but a pretty big slug of 67-69 south of Welker's/ Hydro. Heard from some lobster guys they ran over piles of yellows and mahis right on the edge at Lydonia a week or so ago in fingers of 69-degree water. Wouldn't be too surprised if this eddy concentrated the stragglers that are getting trapped in the little pieces of warm. Never know, maybe some giants pushing through, too. If y'all have the cojones to try it, I'd love to hear about it.

If I hear anything reliable and more current from the lobster contingent, I'll post it here.

some info for the ignorant (surfcaster),
what is this post about? Does a slug of warm water mean that offshore fish/bait will be following it? Like what, tuna, sharks, etc? Just curious to what it means,
THANKS!

Veatch's is a heck of a run even from here for this time of year. I would want a 65' Merritt or something bigger. The weather can be pretty ugly...altough the last couple days were pretty nice for late nov.
