I was just on Youtube the other night watching deep purple videos. I am actually in the audience for the Nobody's home video from 1985. It was filmed in Providence.

Have you seen this Highway star.....

about 3:47 into the song Ritchie, throws a drink at a camera man. I guess he had a problem with them. He came out late in the song too, one of the commenters said he wouldn't play with cameramen on stage.

Burn is a great album. Love the stacks of amps . You don't see that anymore as everything goes thru the board now a days. 1 little amp miked. Ted Nugent had the most stacks I have ever seen. The whole length of the stage both sides. At one point he threw down his hollowbody and left tthe stage for a few minutes of ear bleeding feedback. I left there deaf as a haddock.

any of us that played with those muscle cars/ hotrods.. are lucky to be alive..
do look forward to the next installment tho..

Lu.. the 428 CJ... ... Ford played the ins. co. game well, came rated at 335 horse .. all they did was read the dyno at a different RPM... (actually put out well over 400 horse, and the tourqe was clost to 500 foot pounds).. the ins. company's wised up, they set the limit on cubic inches next.... Chevy played that game.. the "396".. funny.. any engine shop that could figure cubic inches, always came back with 402...

sorry.. any muscle car talk always brings out the high test fumes, burning rubber, and bleach that permiated my brain when I was in my teens...

Karl and who wore seat belts ? no shoulder strap then .Tuck the belt down in the seat and that was the last you saw of it ,. The wrecks were horrific and the kids hardly ever made it out alive . Lost alot of friends to the muscle car days . And they're back ... how about that new Mustang ..

Reminds me of American Graffitti with the classic Booker T and the MG's Green Onions blasting.
