Fished B.I.'s southwest corner yesterday morning and had good success. Picked up the first nice bass about 35" around 7:30. About an hour later a bass close to 39" whacked the tube-n-worm. After that it was all bluefish action...

I was out on a private charter around block island sunday. My group caught 8 bass, 22lbs to 40lbs we were on the kerritim boat out of point judith. caught all of them before noon, then it shut down for a while.

Hi Drum,
Just curious as to what you guys were using on the charter? Was it parachute jigs?

we did a lot of jigging, we did use a pair of parachute rigs on each corner of the boat for maybe two or three passes of the area. but the big ones were jigged up by us holding the rod's and doing the jig dance. Got there around 7:30 and had 6 by 10:00.
total 6 caught jigging and 2 on parachute rigs. Caught the last two around 11:00 then went for fluke. Got 4 fluke 19" to 22".
