Holiday-who's fishing & when.

What's up for the long weekend? I'm still winging it, but would like to hit the ledges a couple times over the weekend. Who's fishing and although my plans aren't even set, I'm curious if any of you clowns are available to fish. I really wanted to get you out clamdigger, what about you John, you sound like a man in need of a fix? I'd ask Slip again, but he's got lead poisoning and he's thinking early and deep.

I'd ask that BM, but only if he has my reel ready, which by the way I could use as the other ones acting up now too. Greg, what about you bud, you off to Cuttyland? Can you tell I miss my fishing friend Pete, who has turned camper/family man and is off to Maine every weekend. So who's game, applicants can apply by email .

Tight lines, enjoy the 4th, watch the wackos they come out in droves on weekends like this.

..I'll be spending the day in Newport. Gonna be up there most of the day...in the Brenton Reef area. She says I can bring 1 rod. ...thats plenty...

..I plan on plug/jigging inbetween the occasional dip in the ocean cuz its gonna be HOT!! I have to concentrate on her a little more than fishing ...she needs love too

....I'll be in "Freak-Land" come Saturday. Transvesti-bulars and wig wearing muscle-heads with breast implants....chix with work boots and "Brute" cologne ...a Cher-look-a-like riding her scooter up and down Main st. with her Adam's apple exposed, the "Barbie Triplets" who look like they should be in the WWF and the smell of incense in the streets to cover up all that craziness.

..I plan on stopping by the Ditch Saturday (4 am)...Capeside to avoid the "bumrush"!!...then heading to Commercial Street for some freak shows by mid-afternoon..and then I'll be on the beach Sunday "reel early"...not sure which beach yet though...

..Anyone else gonna be in the land of the "Unknown" this weekend???...(Sadam and Gamara??)

...it finally happened, there are no more secret spots

Duke, whereabouts are you planning on fishin the Block? I'm planning on trying to get out there this weekend. Last weekend I found some pretty good action off Sandy Point, near a big underwater rock trolling bombers.

I'm wingin' it as well. Probably launching early am tomorrow in the harbor, but haven't made plans for the weekend. I'm workin' friday, so I haven't looked ahead that far yet.

I don't know, I'm ready to give the harbor scene a break, maybe do some nighttime eelin' on the southshore to escape the heat... though its supposed to cool down a bit. Probably depend on my success tomorrow... a good morning and I'll do a repeat over the weekend.

GS, if no one else is up for it, give me a ring. I'm pretty flexible right now.

I keep thinkin' I need a weekend off, 'cause I haven't been sharp on recent trips, but when the weekend comes, I need to fish man.

Friend Pete called and he's actually hanging this weekend, so we will be launching at 4 am tomorrow. Juls I'll call you if I don't get into fish or if I'm on something big time I'll call if your interested in a move. SM I doubt I'll be monitoring the VHF, but you know where I'll be, give me a call on the cell phone. John, I got your email, but you didn't say when, so I made plans for tomorrow. What about Sat/Sun, which day is good for you?

Hi Gs have been out of touch for a little bit as they found a aneurism that we did not know my dad had and the last two weeks have been lots of doctor visits and today all day at the hsp. for more tests. I hope to fish this week end and hope to get to Cuttyhunk at least on Fri morn. but do not know for sure about anything at this point. Hope everyone has a great fourth and that the fish gods are good to all.
