Looow Tide
For those of you near the RI Coastline - very low tide right now
(12:30 PM). Lots of structure visible that is very seldom out of the water. Probably the same for the next few days.

Does anyone know the storm surge on Wed?
My barograph had bottomed out and at high here (~5pm) it was really, really up for a small tide.
Monday looks to be a big swing!

Northwest gale pushing lots of water out to sea. Great Salt Pond was just about empty. Very cool.

Florida. That and how they work the openings up here. Too many dudes flooding the market at once.
The money is in diving on soft shells. But even that, with Maine...........it goes on and on and on aand on.
If only I had a sea scallop permit to sell. I'd be sitting pretty. Them things are worth BIG BUCKS. We'll hammer that fishery soon enough. But at least guys have made some good money the past four, five years. Talk about dull--you ain't making any money if your head is looking up. Keep that knife going boy. Keep that knife going. Advil is down below, keep popping 'em.
