You too! Nothing that a little spinning and experimenting won't help answer.

Swims on top similar to a Red Fin, but less roll and more tail wag. And yes, I made a lot of kindling before coming up with something useful

Hello.........
I have one of those! Alas,...everything around me is frozen!
This is my first official post here guys,...I had to come over eventually. Jig, I can't wait to fish that from the boat this spring, along with that little pikie from last fall. PNG,....I'm still working on pics, I haven't been home. Do you steel lip guys find any loosening in cold water,...does the steel loosen/shrink at all? I have steel, but also still like the lexan. I met a toymaker with a laser a while back, I'm hoping he can help cut me some lips. Good to finally make the jump and add a new site,....talk soon.

Welcome aboard John
I would never comment on "shrinkage" in the cold
Loosening>bend the steel slightly (cup) where it goes in the wood sand and drill holes in where the epoxy will be

Johnny,
I have found that if I just epoxy the lip in, it will eventually pop out. The one I sent you has two screws in the belly to hold the lip in place. Since that one I've redone the lip/lip cut a tad and can now run the wire through the lip to help keep it in place. The base of the lip is tight against the plug. A shot of epoxy and the wire keep it from moving at all. Once you start messing with stainless lips you will likely stay with them. With the stainless I have a couple of ways to tune each plug if it is needed.
