I will be there, and I know Joe "Round-man" Mele and Franky from New York are going to make the trip.

Rest assured people will be there to speak against ANY work-around option's the Seashore set's forth, so we need people there to speak FOR the work-arounds.

Sat - 10 a.m. - Provincelands Visitor Center, Race Pt. Rd.

I will be at the shop before and after the meeting for those who want to shoot the $%#@.

You got that right Rich - remember last time there was the girl from Sierra who stated that they didn't think we should drive the beach at all (at least she was honest about it), and the woman who said she represented 'my (her) ancestors, the people of the light' wouldn't want to see any creatures hurt and all live in harmony and that new age crap - you can bet they'll be there, and that they have sent their emails to the Seashore. A healthy turnout is a must.

I wish I could be there. I have to work on the new house all day Saturday so I can break away for the TFCTFN Saturday night. You should make your way over the bridge and meet us. It's a blast.

I'll be there

The United States Constitution does not exist to grant you rights; those rights are inherent within you. Rather it exists to frame a limited government so that those natural rights can be exercised freely.

1984 was a warning, not a guidebook!

It's time more people spoke up with the truth. Every time we let a leftist lie go uncorrected, the commies get stronger.

I'll be at the shop no later than 8 in the morning, heavily dependent upon my consumption the previous night (winters in Truro truly are tough!)

Thumbs up

See you all there.

Angry

I have downloaded the the entire document. My hi-liter died half way through. Unbelievable. The talk with forked tongues. On one hand they say that orv use is appropriate, but only becuase a judge has deemed it so.

The history of the beginning of the end starting with Eastham because of the blizzard of 78 and then evil Wellfleet decided they wanted thier chunk closed. Domino theory anyone?

Pages 8 & 9 say it all. And that is thier intended goal, you can bank on it. Minimize and eliminate. love that term. Kinda reminds me of "surgical precision strike" in military terms.

The pages of items and life forms that need to be protected. Air quality, ozone propogation ( like 15 trucks on the beach have a more damaging effect on the ozone than the ten mile back up on rt 6 from the day triipers going to P-town to see the "sites" on an overcast July day.)

23 Agencies involved in making decisions, commenting and voting on our access. Remember, not all are fishing friendly.

An increase of 40.00 to 50.00 bucks to cover the lost revenue due to lost sales of permits. First off, they are trhe main cause of the lost revenue due to overbearing bureaucratic administration of the resource. And, since I had to do it myself this week, if the budget is down and costs exceed revenue, than you do what businesses and schools and town and state goverments do. You cut people!

If there are less users why do you need to have as many people on staff? Hell after 5pm we never see one on the beach anyway!

The writing is on the wall and between the lines. The end is near.

Why even try.........

Boy, I thought I was cynical!!!!!!!!! You must be talking way to much with a cynic up this way!!

In all seriousness though, it is hard not to get pissed off when you read through it. The list of things we are trying to "protect" is endless. Truro was just deemed to have about 95% of it's total land mass home to every protected species known to man!!

Love the fact they raised the price of the weekly - "By the way, we raised the price even though your average days on the beach last year decreased significantly, we hope you don't mind as it really is still a deal". So higher costs, less bought, next year let's raise the price even more, that way less and less will come and we won't have to put up with this anymore. You are right Flap - they are not running it like a business, so you start to wonder if they really want to go out of that side of the business.

Now you got me in that cycle - thanks alot!

And the sad part is.. No Unity amongst User Groups.. The daytripers blame the campers.. the campers isolate, most often forced to, by designation at P-town, and by the word at the gatehouse at Nauset, and do not appreciate the fishermen going by well above the 15 MPH speed limit, the fishermen hate everybody , as the surfers do, and the local chambers of commerce, bitch about lost business, but bring no meat to the table, other than to complain loud and often.. some business owners are active as individuals, but, I see zero input, fro the local Cahmbers..... a real shame, be cause all of the feel gooders unite, join there #'s and $'s, and sway the powers that be...

If we had as much unity, amongst those that love it so, and benifit from it, in SPITE of our differences, we could level the playing field a bit.

This is also done by design.. the powers that be know the differences amongst those that use the beach, so.. what to do... cram all of us in as small an area as possible.. what does that generate??, other than infighting.. so.. win win.. for those that want to close it...but bad for ALL of us...

Man.. this cynical chit is catchy!.. must be the weather..
But.. Please keep in mind.. when anyone starts pointing fingers, at anybody else on the beach, in a negative fashion.. you are only hurting yourself.....

I love it when I hear.. "Why give a buck to the Legal Fund for the MBBA??.. all they care about is the campers.". .. well..
WHO ELSE.. is trying to do ANYTHING, such as hiring a high powered law firm, or are they just content to point fingers and bitch and moan........
And do you honestly think that the beach would be limited to campers only?... gimme a break....I have driven campers, been a day tripper and a nightstalker with a fishing rod.. I've felt the hate from the powers that be, no matter what I'm driving in, or activity I'm participating in.....

Enuf.. Hope to see you tomorrow.. looks like about 90% good, right now...Everybody reach there own conclusion, but---->
keep unity in mind.. PLEASE.

Flaptail, yoiu mentioned downloading a document. Is there a .pdf file somewhere? I couldn't find it.

Three-fourths of the Earth's surface is water, and one-fourth is land. It is quite clear that the good Lord intended us to spend triple the amount of time fishing as taking care of the lawn.
