good/bad kinda day

good was i got the boat out for the first trip of the season and it didn't miss a beat , everythig worked . the bad , never got to drop a line , i made it out to the mouth of the river and wham got slammed .the weather people said 8-12 mph wind in the morning . bull---t it was 15-20 blowing right down the pipe . just hope its better next weekend .

If they say 10 -15 , always double it, so 25- 30 would be likely.

It's a good habit to learn and check the weather bouy for current conditions and use/compare that info with the NOOA forecast.
