First real sign for me is Buzzards soaring around since Robbins hang around all winter now along coastal locations. I have had one in the yard all year and that is a little unusual for me being 20 miles inland, but a mild winter mostly caused this . But when I hear the Robbins up in the tops of the trees as the sun starts to set, everynite, I get really psyched as I know the warm weather is right around the corner.

Lots of robins around up here in the Merrimack Valley now!!!
Eagles have moved North now that the ice in the river is breaking up!!!
Saw a first today for me= a Baltimore Oriole!!!
What a beautiful bird with blue wings and an orange body!!!

re: blue birds
fairly common but not as plentiful as the old days.
they are mainly bug eaters and will nest in wooden boxes
5 feet off the ground.
