More good stuff

I had some time this weekend to get a few things moving for the site and wanted to post a couple things....

First off, we are going to have another auction or raffle soon for Brad Pohler of Hawg Hunter fame. Mike at M&D's has some stuff, and Slipknot just donated some very nice plugs that he made as well as some other goodies, I'm gonna rumage through my collection of new, unopened boxes and see what's available too . If anyone else has anything they would like to contribute, please e-mail or PM me - thanks....

I also had the chance to meet Capesams this this weekend. We've been chatting offline and on another site for several months and he recently came aboard over here to S-B... About a month or so before he signed on here (but had been lurkin' for a while), he offered to wrap a rod to donate to this site with the proceeds of it's sale to benefit that. The rod is a 1088 Batson Spinning - VERY nicely done. We'll see how we can best use it but any money raised will go direct to the monthly bills - Here is a shot of the buttwrap - a little teaser

-- Very nice rod & Again, big thanks to CapeSams for the donation:

I also had a good look at his boat, I WANT one!!! And met his son who likes destoying, err - I mean fixing computers as much as I do or even more and is soon off to learn Fortran and Cobol (the Computer equivalents of the rosetta stone ) in pursuit of higher computer learning ....

BIG THANKS TO Capesams
