This is the stuff ya read--

Abe Coleman, the Hebrew Hercules passed away March 28 at 101 yrs old.
The Washinton Post

"Professional wrestler Abe Coleman said he got his signature move from watching kangaroos."

"Abe Coleman a Polish-born professional wrestler promoted as the "Hebrew Hercules" and "Jewish Tarzan", died March 28 at Meadow Park Nursing home in Queens NY. He was 101 years old and had kidney failure."

"Starting in the late 1920s, Mr. Coleman had more than 2000 fights during a 25 year career."

"Mr. Coleman was a strikingly broad but diminutive man whose 5-foot 3 frame prompted jokes that he appeared to be standing in a ditch. However, at 200 pounds-with 18-inch biceps amd 18.5-inch neck-he stood his ground in the ring like a fireplug."

"He was amazingly agile. His signature move was the drop kick, in which the wrestler ups and boots his opponent with the soles of his feet. He claimed to introduce the manuver in 1930 after having toured Australia and seeing kangaroos attacking in the same way."

"During one unfortunate match up against Man Mountain Dean, who weighted 465 pounds, Mr. Coleman managed to pick up his foe and slam him into the mat. They came crashing through the ring to the hard floor below."

"He spent much of his retirement playing poker and gambling at Off Track Betting." "His wife...died in 1984." "He claimed to have met her in 1936 while on the job. "i was thrown out of the ring and landed right in her lap," he said."
