Great presentation Sat at the MSBA show . It brought back a lot of old info and memories. Question- I've been using bucktails the same way you use the tins at Montauk and the south fork . have you tried bucktails down cape?

First off, thanks for the kind words. Secondly, yes I have but some tips are too good to share in an open forum ( 1 oz Canal Special Bucktail jig with a 6" inch white Slug-go on back hehehe!!)

And if you were very observant (though nobody asked and I didn't mention it) on my display board was a couple eelskin jigs, one with skin on, eelskin jigs in the one to two ounce size work very very well in high water just run over the bottom like you would fish a rigged eel. Just a pulse of the rod tip ever so slightly as it bumps along.

Keep that quiet though please!

Flaptail I enjoyed your presentation too......but using bucktails???? come on everyone knows you catch fish on those things!
