Holdovers
I noticed mentions of catching holdovers on the Cape recently. My question(s) is do these fish take up permanent residence or do they eventually migrate in the fall? What's the primary reason for them staying here through the winter seeing food supplies for them must seriously diminish in the winter? Do they spawn here or are they just loners with no place to go?
