Some more good words for a buddy of ours
This morning, Clamdigger goes into the hospital (probably already there) for scheduled surgery. I won't go into details, but it can be severe. Fortunately it was caught pretty early. The chances for recovery are very good. But he won't be fishing or clamming for a little while.
Some of the time, Mike would probably joke that it was the second half of the lobotomy being completed, and at other times he'll be real serious and add "Remember, ENJOY WHAT YOU HAVE !!!". That's his motto these days, at least for the past year and a half I've known him so far - it seems longer . Enjoy what you have....
Let's all put in a good word with the guy up stairs for a thorough and speedy recovery
Mike - Gwen, Liam, and I wish you a quick & safe trip from surgery and a speedy recovery.
We'll save some fish for you...
ENJOY WHAT YOU HAVE !!!

Hope you get well soon Clammer. We've been worried about you for a while and glad you finally got fixed up. I'm sure all will go well. Its amazing how many thoughts and prayers you get from your friends in time of need. I'm sure there are many more people keeping you in their thoughts and prayers than you will ever know.
Get well soon buddy. You make the site and the boating and fishing scene a lot more fun!
ENJOY WHAT YOU HAVE!!

I just spoke with Mike's wife. He's doing OK , no doubt still harassing the nurses. She says the operation went well with the full results back in a bit but he'll be home tomorrow or Friday.
I'll be sure to pass along averyone's well wishes for him when I see him...
