Different type of casting clinic
As a result of the casting clinic post. I recieved an email that made me laugh. It started out like this. Big Dave. Would you ever consider doing a marriage saving casting clinic? Trying to teach my wife is a nightmare. I wont re-type the letter but I certianly understood his feelings. I guess my answer was yes I would help him out, but also I wondered how many others were in his shoes? Well?

Interesting proposition. My wife will reluctantly fish from the boat with me but refuses to try surf casting from land. Probably better off that way anyways.

Oh its a mess whenever she tries to lean into a cast. She does great if they're within 15-20 feet.

Does that mean 'if' you're still engaged when the clinic happens???

through the years ive taught two different women how to fish the beach. it takes a few times out to get the timing down. have plenty of patience and a you're doing great honey on your lips, and ready to go.

Over the past 2 seasons I've tried to show mine how to cast but she still insists on lobbing because she tires easily, hence the sandspike and bait approach this year.

Teaching your wife or girlfriend is best left to others.
Maybe they don't want to disappoint you,
or maybe they are too used to not listening to you.

I have taken my wife a few times and when im not catching any fish she is happy as can be but when that first fish is caught the i feel bad for the fish let it go starts. When the wind picks up the whining starts and my day of fishing is done so now she stays at home and were both happy.

I'd rather sleep with Ron Arra than fish with my girlfriend.

the full moon looks orange sometimes when it rises because the light has to pass through more of the atmosphere then when the moon is higher in the sky. the blue light waves scatter but the red light waves pass through...... if you were wondering.

One of the many things I love about my wife is that she don't fish.
